Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
Information you give us: your first name and email address when you start checkout, and anything you write to us by email.
Purchase information: when you pay, Whop shares with us your name, email, the product bought, the amount, and the order status. Your card details are handled by Whop and its payment partners, never by us.
Technical information: basic visit data such as pages viewed, browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies, plus email engagement data (opens and clicks) for the emails we send.
Why we use it
To deliver your manuals and order emails, to send reminder emails if you started checkout and didn’t finish, to answer your questions and honor refunds, to prevent fraud, and to understand and improve our site and marketing.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, your consent where it is required, and our legal obligations.
Emails
If you enter your email at checkout, we may send you a short series of reminder emails about your order. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by writing to us. Order and refund emails are sent even after you unsubscribe, because they are part of your purchase.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business: Whop (payments and product delivery), our web host o2switch (website and email servers), and the email and analytics tools installed on our site. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site and checkout to work, and analytics cookies to measure visits. Advertising platforms we work with may also use cookies or pixels to measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes (generally up to 7 years), and leads who never bought for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in California under the CCPA/CPRA, or in the European Union and UK under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email wade@k9americandogtraining.com; we will answer within 30 days. EU and UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.
Your data may be processed in the United States and in the European Union, where our service providers operate.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
